According to the American College Health Association, 3 in 10 college students report feeling “so depressed that it was difficult to function”. Suicide is the second leading cause of death in college students. Yet, we too often dismiss the symptoms of mental health issues that we see in ourselves and in those we love. Problems like depression and anxiety are thought of as something to be ashamed of, when in reality we all feel these at some point in our lives. The goal of this site is to help the college students who are stuck. College is a very stressful time for everyone, but we must remember to take care of ourselves in terms of mental health. It is normal to stress about grades and friends, but when this stress starts to consume your life, the problems begin.

It is important for you to know that you are not alone, and you can get through this.
